Nothing can match true love, one of the great privileges of being a wedding photographer is to capture these truthful moments, even though, some times I have to direct my clients, their feeling for each other takes place and surpass every direction. Specially when all these things are mixed with kindness and support, these guys came in ready to do this, and the result was awesome. I can’t wait to shoot their wedding.
Enjoy

February 1st, Friday 11:55am my phone rang, I was driving on turnpike north on my way to Orlando for a 10 days vacation, Sofia was on the other side, she was planning her wedding here Miami, but was going to travel back to Texas where she lives on sunday. I apologized and told her I couldn’t meet with them that weekend, and asked when was the next time she was coming in town, the answer was: 1 week before the wedding. We then set an appointment to meet via FaceTime, and that’s how this story started on my end

New York is a magical place, specially during spring, every time there’s a session there, I know I’m bringing home amazing photos… but just amazing photos without fun is not worthy, I had a blast with Claudia and Jorge, we went to central park, grand central station, chelsea market and time square… there’s no way to end the day better than eating an authentic home style italian food at Carmine’s.
I glad to share this amazing session.
Enjoy!

Awesome, fascinating, incredible, marvelous, prodigious, shocking, stunning, surprising, unbelievable, wonderful, none of these words are enough to describe Chantelle and David’s wedding, these two rocked the floor at the cocoplum women club and couldn’t stop. Their guest followed their steps, and made such a unique party, I’m glad I was able to capture and show just a little what this was all about.
Enjoy

A miracle, that’s what happened on Danielle and Robert’s wedding day, we had planned a beach session after the ceremony, Danielle, even delayed the reception so we could have time for that. I woke up this saturday to shoot the wedding, first thing I went to my phone and check the weather forecast, 80% chance of rain, severe thunderstorm and flood watch, as I went to the hotel, streets had turned into lakes and I needed to drive using instruments, because the visibility was zero. We had our plan B, for that session, a hotel lobby, the fun would’ve been the same, but without the stunning visual of the ocean.
When we headed to the church, the rain gave up, but the roads were flooded and the dark clouds didn’t give any space for the sun, forecast changed to 20% chance of rain, when the ceremony ended, we went outside, there wasn’t a single cloud, huge blue sky, and that steaming sun at full power, I wish we could’ve had a little bit of clouds
but hey, one should not complain, plan A was back in action and we had tons of fun at the beach.
The reception was blast, and it doesn’t happen every day, but everything went perfectly as planned
I hope you enjoy these photos

Words are not enough to describe the experience of being close to these great families, first thing, they make you feel one of them at minute 1, second, fun is their last name, they really know how to enjoy a party.
We started at a spa in pembroke pines where sheila got pampered to enjoy her wedding day, then the mutiny hotel was the stage for everybody to get ready and head to the Plymouth Congregation Church in Coconut Groove, my favorite part of the ceremony is at the end when the bride and groom gets to ring the bells, it’s a joyful moment, and we couldn’t end a better day at the cocoplum where the fun took over
– Aside from all the fun, Sheila and Bernie are a very sweet and young couple, she’s a Chef and Bernie designs custom motorcycle (choppers) – don’t miss their engagement session, where Bernie brought one of his master piece

I met with Anna one week before the wedding to go over the details, she had planned a beautiful ceremony in the gardens of Fairchild Tropical Gardens, and some awesome locations to do creative portrait, but we had a little problem, over 60% chance of rain. the wedding day came, sky was cloudy, but as I drove to the Mayfair to shoot the getting ready, the chance of rain was 0% – after 30 minutes it started raining, and the forecast changed to 100% chance of rain. Plan B had to come into action, but what I admired most in Anna, was her ability to rant for 5 seconds, let it out and enjoy her day as if it was perfectly planned, what I learned from this situation is that it doesn’t matter what you plan, just enjoy the moment the best you can, and they did this, their wedding was one of the most beautiful wedding I’ve shot, the rain gave up after the ceremony, and we were able to to some shots we had planned for. Fred is one of a kind, maybe it’s the culture from Belgium where he’s from, but he was the most kind and emotional groom I’ve ever seen, he even cried during the kiss the bride part
lol – but what I loved to see, was when we found out that plan B had to be in action, he texted Anna saying: “Together with you, the sun will always shine in my heart”.
I hope you enjoy the story this photos will tell you.
Cheers!

When Adria called me saying she wanted to shoot around brickell key and brickell, I cheered, not only because Brickell is amazing, but because we were shooting on Brickell with a meaning, they both live there, and it’s where they want to eternize this wonderful moment together.
Not to mention how sweet and kind they are, our session was a breeze, the weather was perfect and I couldn’t ask for a better engagement session.
Enjoy!

I got my private pilot license a while ago, Daniel was my instructor, I was still single, after I got my license, I got to live in Dallas, Boston, came back to Miami, got married, went to Atlanta, then got back, facebook didn’t existed and we had zero contact, one day I was at the Lincoln road mall, and guess who’s there, Daniel and this beautiful woman, I approached him, we talked and he introduced Brenda, that was probably 2009, it had been more than 10 years that I didn’t see him, a month later, at the falls, who’s there? Daniel again… I couldn’t believe, I thought it was a sign for me to get back flying again (since I stopped after my kids were born) – Very well, we connected of Facebook and kept contact via facebook, I attempted to get back flying and asked him for his help, but I was too busy and let it go. One day out of nothing, I noticed he posted that they got engaged, I asked him if he needed a photographer, we met at Starbucks and gelled once again
Now I know why these coincidences happened, I had to shoot their wedding
well, maybe get back airborne as well
Their wedding day was perfect, everything very beautiful, the weather couldn’t be better, and the timing too… I hope you enjoy these photos
Cheers!
